Reiki can be used as a complementary therapy for any disease, both mental and physical, as well as in hospice care during the final stages of life. Our Reiki master is available for stand-alone appointments and also for treatments during your pet’s exam or procedure. Most pets experience a deep sense of relaxation during a Reiki session – which can be especially helpful as an adjunct to help reduce the amount of sedation for other medical procedures.
Reiki is gentle energy-based modality originating in Japan. Using light touch, or working off the body, the Reiki practitioner helps to re-establish a normal flow of ki (life force energy) in your pet, which in turn can enhance and accelerate the body’s innate healing ability.
